Privacy notice
Last updated: 17 July 2026
What this notice covers
This notice explains how information submitted through Mystere.uk is used when you express interest in a sailing experience or contact us directly.
Information we collect
We may collect your name, business name, role, email address, phone number, proposed group size and the information you include in your message. Basic technical information, such as an IP address and submission time, may also be recorded for security and administration.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, consider suitable guest groups, discuss possible dates and provide relevant joining information. We do not use the enquiry form to add you automatically to unrelated marketing lists.
Our lawful basis
We process enquiry information because it is necessary to respond to your request and, where appropriate, to take steps before entering into an arrangement with you. We may also retain limited records where we have a legitimate interest in managing enquiries, safety and administration.
Sharing and international use
Information is shared only where reasonably necessary to manage the experience, such as with authorised organisers, crew, professional advisers or service providers. Because the yacht is based in Spain, relevant operational information may need to be used in the United Kingdom and Spain.
Retention
Enquiry information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, plan suitable experiences, meet legal or safety obligations and maintain appropriate records. Unsuccessful or inactive expressions of interest should be reviewed and removed when they are no longer useful.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict the use of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. You may also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or the relevant Spanish supervisory authority.
